The older I get, the more important I am coming to terms with how important self care is. It’s easy to forget when you have daily responsibilities such as work, finances, motherhood, relationships to manage to lose yourself in the mix. I recently moved from chicago to Texas, it will be a year in December. It was definitely a leap of faith because my spouse got a new job and wanted a change so we dove head first into the new life in the south. So far it’s been good but definitely a challenge for me.
I work from home and have a small child who just began preschool. I’m balancing motherhood and work along with not losing myself with the things I enjoy. I use to blog often. I’ve had this blog close to 5 years now and it’s been quite tricky keeping up with my posts. This makes me happy and is my happy space. Apart of my self care routine is writing, treating myself to a facial, spa, pampering myself, a glass of wine and simply carving out Me time. I want to focus some of my posts moving forward on motivation, self care routines, meditation , journaling and ways to stay positive.
