We all dream about getting rich or wish to come up with a get rich quick scheme. We believe that money will make life easier, give us a form of financially peace and stability. Why? Because society shows and says that it will. We are taught the Americans dream is to get wealthy and have enough to pass down to your family and children. Who wouldn’t want to buy anything your heart desires and live ultra comfortable. We watch reality tv and envy families like The Kardashians who built their wealth via media and drama and ran with it, invested and tripled their wealth.
But does money really make you happy??? Is it temporarily fulfillment? It depends on what you do with it and your mindset towards it…right? Money to me is a safety net. I believe it’s not to go crazy and buy stuff of no value, of course material things is the first thing most people think of when they get rich because it’s a ego stroker. It feels good to be admired and looked at as doing better than most. But what about issues that can transpired by having a lot of money? What about the envy, the hate, the fake friends and family? Sometimes moving in silence when it comes to wealth is the best choice. You ever notice some of the wealthiest people drive the most basic cars, or may have one or two luxury cars they take out only on occasions? Steve Jobs didn’t wear fancy labels but he could buy any line of fashion line imaginable. I’ve learned that you should be skeptical of someone who is over flashy because in most cases they are a walking time bomb. Time bomb to get robbed or go broke over spending….not in all cases but from my experience, the folks that are over the top typically have no foundation. What’s their net worth? 401k plan? Savings?
Let’s just say we all get tight and down at times wishing and praying to come into some money, trust me I want and plan to make sure my family and children are well set up when I’m no longer here, but just remember money is the root of all evil for a reason! What you think? Thanks for reading!
